The Open Daybook is a project that was initiated by David Earle and published by Mark Batty Publishers. David invited over 300 artists to each create one artwork during a specific day during the year, and collected these works into an art book/calendar.

For my contribution I set a timer on my phone that, as I went about my day, compelled me to take a photo of the first thing I saw. Then, I selected colours from these timed images and presented these colours in the text-based format shown above.
